I am a Gas safe registered plumber and heating engineer based in Sudbury, Suffolk who specialises in kitchen and bathroom fitting as well as boiler changes and central heating systems.

I also undertake gas safety inspections.


I am on the Gas Safe Register so can install, service and maintain all your domestic gas appliances including; Central heating boilers,
cookers, fires, and water heaters.

I can also design and install heating and hot water systems to suit any household requirement.

If you are interested in having a bathroom installed or re-modelled in any way, I offer a complete design service if required and would be happy to advise you on any aspect of your bathroom.

If you are interested in a new kitchen I can arrange for all the building works necessary to complete the project including all the electrics, plastering and brickwork etc.

By law all landlords are responsible for the safety of their tenants.

All landlords must ensure that gas appliances are working correctly and guard against the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Landlords must ensure all gas appliances are serviced regularly and Gas Safety Inspection is carried out annually.

SP Corke can carry out a Gas safety inspection for your property, test all appliances for gas soundness, pressure at test points if available.

After which I will provide you with a Gas Safety Certificate.

Domestic gas inspections are at a fixed price of £60.00 which includes all items listed below and up to two appliances, Extra appliances are charged at £20.00.

1. Check appliance for gas tightness.

2. Check standing and working pressure if test points available.

3. Check burner pressure / gas rate against manufacturers data plate.

4. Check for satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation.

5. Test flue flow to ensure removal of products of combustion.

6. Check satisfactory operation of all the flame failure devices.

7. Check for physical stability, presence and effectiveness of
stability brackets (where appropriate).

8. Investigate any evidence of unsafe operation and report to a
responsible person. An appliance cannot be deemed as having
been checked, until the above has been completed.

9. Check gas tightness of the full system should be added to the above.
